Snip the Cycle: Support Spay/Neuter

Snip the Cycle: Support Spay/Neuter image

Kitten season is here. It is the time of year when thousands of accidental kitty litters are born.

Spay and neuter is the best thing we can do to help our city’s kitten and cat overpopulation crisis.

There are 1-3 million community cats in Los Angeles. One female cat can have 3-4 litters per year, with 4-8 kittens per litter - that’s more than 30 kittens annually from one, unspayed female.

Most of these kittens do not survive. If not fixed, all end up reproducing – contributing to the overpopulation crisis.

We are on the frontlines to spay, neuter, treat, and care for these cats and their kittens. CAMP spays and neuters about 400 kittens and cats per week at our clinics. In 2026 alone, we have fixed more than 8000 cats.

For $120, you can cover the entire cost of a cat’s spay or neuter. That’s hundreds of thousands of kittens who will never be born into tough conditions.

Each spay/neuter stops the cycle. Every donation saves lives.

Help our city and vulnerable kittens today.
